Armadillo Madness

Yeah, I got me an armadiller.
This was done as the test piece for my Glaze Calc class, but ended up as my favorite piece yet. It's a ceramic armadillo jar and the glaze I used to get the cracked effect on the shell is MINE! Yes, that's right, I created it. It is a cone 10 crackle glaze that I have made in Turqouise, Pastel Purple, and this Tannish/Shino-ey color. The entire semester in Glaze Calculation was spent developing one glass. Each person took different routes in color, texture, temperature, and type.
